About the Eyring formula
The Eyring formula links the rate constant \( k \) to the activation Gibbs free energy \( \Delta G^\ddagger \):
$$ k = \frac{k_B T}{h} \exp \left( -\frac{\Delta G^\ddagger}{RT} \right) $$
where \( k_B \) is the Bolztmann factor, \(T \) is the temperature, \(h \) is the Planck constant and \(R \) is the perfect gas constant.
